Position contributes to Johnstone Supply’s status as preeminent choice for commercial solutions in the HVAC/R field by providing technical expertise, sales support, and excellent customer service.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, drafting, design, logistics, business, or related field preferred; 5 years of experience in a similar position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required:
o High school degree or equivalent required or is ERP competence with ability to learn quickly
o AutoCad proficiency
o Minimum of five years’ experience in the HVAC and/or refrigeration field
Preferred:
o Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, drafting, design, logistics, business or related field preferred.
o ERP experience with DDI preferred
o HVAC/R design experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
• Valid drivers’ license and proof of insurance must be maintained in order to support occasional travel by vehicle.
• Must have, or be able to quickly obtain, and sustain any state required licenses required to perform the role.
Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems (HVAC) Stamp with "H" subfield designation is a plus!

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite of products.
• Polished and professional demeanor in person, online, and via phone.
• While multilingual skills are valued, English proficiency (written and spoken) is a core requirement for this position due to the nature of the work, safety regulations, and to ensure accurate communication and comprehension.

Physical Demands:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and/or feel; flex hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; turn head and torso; and talk or hear. The employee is often required to walk, particularly for on-site visits. The employee is occasionally required to carry and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment:
• Employee is occasionally required to travel across multiple locations in their assigned area, primarily via car. Some work is performed in typical office building at a desk using equipment such as PCs, phones, and electronic files. Other work occurs on-site at customers’ locations and at individual stores. Store climate is air conditioned or heated. Additional time may be spent outdoors, in trucks, and in a warehouse environment. While outdoors, the employee is exposed to a variety of weather elements including sunshine, rain, heat, cold, and humid conditions. Warehouse is unconditioned and may involve hot and cold temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise. Occasionally, the employee is exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic or caustic chemicals.
