Responsibilities

  • Identify new accounts with potential within the Northern New Jersey region, and work to build the business proposition, with the end goal of making those accounts Johnstone customers. 
  • Develop quality data (consistent, measurable) in support of Sales, Marketing and Product programs and analytics
  • Proficiency to work with large amounts of data in Excel including advanced formula and pivot table functionality required for reporting and analytical needs.
  • Establish a solid relationship with sales and marketing to ensure optimal incoming sales. 
  • Monitor lost sales to ensure we are making a concerted effort to identify and retain prior year’s sales, with the main focus being on retaining key customers.
  • Support and assist regional sales teams with process improvements and sales reporting.
  • Follow up and follow through with new and existing sales leads
  • Provide updated sales data on a daily basis.  
  • Develop and maintain routine tracking reports reflecting data status, data content, and data follow-ups required 
  • Work within the Phocas and Solar Eclipse system to verify, compare, align, and measure data inconsistencies 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or related degree, or equivalent experience. 
  • Knowledge of Sales Operations and Process, Data Intelligence/Management, or similar experience/education.
  • Proven selling skills with ability to effectively “knock on doors”.
  • Experience in data management.  Quality Sales data management experience a plus 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent systems skills including Excel, Word & PowerPoint 
  • Polished and professional demeanor in person, online and via phone.

Compensation
